salmon-dip

This is a play on the classic combination of salmon and cream cheese. Using yogurt in place of the cream cheese changes the nutritional content for the better and results in a thinner dip that keeps the dip to celery (or chip) ratio just right.

I adapted the simple recipe from a weekly email update I get from Mary Ann, a friend, certified Fitness Nurse, and one half of my training team at Higher Level Fitness. The protein content is even high enough to keep her husband (and my coach) Vernis looking like the physique champion he is year-round.

Give it a try for a simple snack or as part of your holiday entertaining array.
